For fans of the franchise, Resident Evil 3, which modernises one of the series’ less-heralded episodes, is a must-play. The problem is that almost all of its positive features can also be found in Resident Evil 2, and many of those weaknesses have been fixed. The whole thing has a lot less going for it than I had hoped.
Is Resident Evil 3 a long game?
Resident Evil 3 may be completed in about six hours on the usual difficulty setting if you take your time, completely explore each location, and go back for any items you may have missed the first time around. However, if you play on the easier Assisted mode and skip items, you might be able to finish the game in a fraction of the time.
